MockFlow update: New annotation components & updates

Annotationcomps

Today's build brings the following updates:

Components:

* Horizontal and Vertical Bracket components - used for grouping and annotating a portion of the mockup
* ToolTip - It is similar to the Note component but has a pointer to indicate a particular stuff in the mockup
* Triangle - This is a basic shape component

Updates:

* The 'Link' button in presentation mode will now also show/hide annotation components in addition to link highlights
* The 140 character limit in the feedback system has been removed

MockFlow update: Now you can add co-editors for your wireframe project

Share

As you see in the screenshot, now you can invite co-editors for your Wireframe in addition to Reviewers. Co-Editors can basically edit the mockup and add comments but with certain restrictions like they
cannot change the mockup title, modify share settings, delete image assets...

This would be very useful for teams (like us) where they want to collaborate on a project or you can invite your client to actually make changes in your design in addition to feedback.

Another related change in today's update is that invited co-editors/reviewers who are not registered users at MockFlow.com can perform a Quick Signup which is faster than the regular registration.

Update: Please note the 'Basic' edition of MockFlow supports only 2 collaborators, for unlimited collaborators switch to the 'Premium Edition'

MockFlow new feature: Link your comments in the Mockup

Linkedcomments

We are very excited and glad to have implemented back-to-back BIG features for MockFlow, therefore adding more value to the product. Today's feature enhances the functionality of the 'Comment box' (found in the presentation mode). Now you and your mockup's reviewers can link and place arrows in the mockup to virtually point out what they are referring to in their comment. So now each comment can have its own annotation making it easy for the viewers to understand and communicate better.

Here is a live example. Open the 'Comments' and click on each comment to view the annotations. Tip: You can move around the Comment Box by dragging its header area.

MockFlow update: SiteMap Visualizations and other updates

Visualize

This is the part 2 follow up feature to our SiteMap implementation. Today's update brings a cool feature that enables you to visualize a SiteMap at the click of the 'Visualize' button found in both editor and presentation modes. We have used Adobe's mark shepherd implementation to make this visualization possible. As you see the graph contains multi-colored nodes with the following representations: Red indicating the Mockup, Yellow for folders and Blue for Pages.

Also the visualization can be exported to an PNG image format.   Please note that this feature is in 'Beta' which means we are still working on it and expecting feedback.

Other updates include better support for languages (Thanks to one of our Premium users for requesting this) and some under the hood performance fixes.

Announcement: Our introductory offer of $49/Year will soon be over. So if you are interested in MockFlow Premium this is the best time to make the switch and lock your subscription price.

MockFlow update: Export wireframes to PDF with comments

In today's update for MockFlow, we are introducing a new feature that let's designers to export mockups to a PDF file.  What's different is that in one-click the exported PDF file includes all the comments and discussions in addition to the mockup's snapshot.

This makes it highly professional to create print outs or email documents to your clients. Click here for a sample PDF file generated with MockFlow.

This feature is also available to all basic edition users but with a watermark.

MockFlow: New feature to create multi-level sitemaps for wireframes

Sitemap

We are very glad to release this small but very useful feature to organize your pages in a wireframe with multi-level hierarchy. Now simply drag-and-drop pages to reorder them and to create sub-levels. This is actually part 1 of the feature, we are now excited to work on its remaining functionality which will be unwrapped soon...

Update:  A small enhancement has been added to this feature that now lets users also add folders as part of the sitemap hierarchy. Wait for the part 2...

MockFlow: Check out the fresh look-n-feel 'Yellow Chocolate' - hmm tastes great...

Newdesign2

If you are an existing user of MockFlow, you will see a refreshing design of the application as we rolled out a new darker theme internally named 'Yellow Chocolate". The main reason for this change is to provide a contrast distinction between the application and the actual mockup. We hope you like it as much as we do.
